Bronxville, NY, November 10, 2010 -- The Bronxville Police Department is investigating a burglary at a White Plains Road home that occurred on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, between 12:30pm - 2:10pm.. The method of entry was forced entry with the point of entry being a first floor window-stolen from within the residence were assorted items of jewelry. At this point we have not identified any suspects in the investigation but have recovered valuable evidence in our crime scene search. This burglary is similar to two other burglaries we are investigating that occurred on Courseview Road on September 16, 2010, and October 24, 2010.
We urge residents to lock all doors and windows to their home when leaving for the day and activate their alarm system at all times. Alarms must be activated even if you are vacating the home for a short period of time. If you observe suspicious activity or person(s), contact the police department immediately.
