VALHALLA, NY, July 27, 2010 -- Experience the heart and soul of the best of the Yiddish stage on Sunday, August 1, at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Get there early and enjoy Yiddish folk dancing with Sasha who will lead the audience through traditional dances beginning at 5 p.m. The musical entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and includes Zalmen Mlotek, theater star Daniella Rabbani, Theresa Tova, Adrienne Cooper and Michael Winograd and Friends.
Admission and parking are free. Bring blankets or chairs for seating on the lawn.

Yiddish Fest is presented by the Workmen’s Circle/Arbeiter Ring (Westchester) in cooperation with Westchester County Parks. Additional sponsorship is provided by the Atran Foundation and more than 20 temples and Jewish community organizations from throughout Westchester.
The Kensico Dam Plaza is located in Valhalla at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway.
